Been sick the past week and it has seriously screwed up my schedule.

Poor Tomas, his anger is so ineffectual, 'cause nobody cares. Also: pain lightening. It's my newest favorite art term, move over chiaroscuro!

(Ok, it's not really an art term, but I'm adopting it as one)

Feb 27, 2010

Here's a page, new one on Monday. I'm really trying to figure out a better update schedule. I can do this twice weekly thing, it's just I need to figure out the timing.

Feb 22, 2010

Next page will be on Friday. Hopefully people won't take this past week as indication the new updating schedule is going to crash and burn. This was mainly due to my work load suddenly going insane on me, which it thankfully doesn't do all that often.

Anyway, this page has too many words. There will be less words on future pages.

Feb 15, 2010

There's no cover for this chapter, because I forgot about drawing one. Will probably cobble one together eventually, but there's no harm, just means we jump right to the first page.

Notice that the page is still the half page size? Yeah, I decided to go with updating twice a week for this chapter. I think it'll help me work faster. For some reason, a half page doesn't seem nearly as arduous as a full one. I'm still not 100% certain what other day will work best for me to update on, but your best bet for now is to check back on <strike>Friday</strike> Saturday (delay, because I had no time to try and play catch up this week). Or just subscribe to the RSS.

Feb 12, 2010

As of today, FAMIB has been on the web for 9 years. Which is as old as Tomas. That's kinda puts this comic in an odd perspective for me, for some reason. I would have been better off just having a bastard child from the beginning, instead of this substitute one.

Ah yes, and as an extra bonus, for today's Sloth Fight, I did the moment immediately after the above illustration:

Just to clarify, from a couple pages back Tomas doesn't actually remember much from when he first met Wollen. Though that could largely be by choice.

I need more time to plan out the next chapter, so it won't start updating till Monday the 15th. BUT! The 12th is FAMIB's 9th anniversary and I have to do something. So, I'll be posting new art every weekday next week in lieu of comic updates.

Feb 01, 2010

I know, I know, another chapter ending where Narancs makes some schmaltzy statement about family. To make up for this lackluster ending, there'll be a new epilogue page on Wednesday. I promise it'll return to the usual FAMIB style.

Meaning it'll be vague and confusing.

Jan 29, 2010

Narancs patience with Tomas' sometimes grows a bit thin.
Last page of the chapter is on Monday.
